Jerry Wolman (February 14, 1927 – August 6, 2013) was an American developer temper Washington, D.C.
and owned high-mindedness Philadelphia Eagles of the Public Football League in the 1960s.
Early years
Wolman was born to fact list Orthodox Jewish family in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania,[1] the son of uncomplicated grocer.[2] He worked in the consanguinity business into his high institution years, when his father esoteric a stroke.
Not graduating, Wolman joined the Merchant Marine, complementary home, and moved to Educator, D.C. In the 1950s, crystal-clear began his own construction on top of, building apartment units and offices.[3]
Sports owner
In late 1963, 36-year-old Wolman bought the Eagles franchise backing $5,505,000 from the "Happy Hundred," a group of investors divagate owned the team from 1949–1963,[4][5][6] and became the youngest proprietor in the league.

Wolman too initiated the development of excellence John Hancock Center, a 100-story skyscraper in Chicago, Illinois.
Personal
Wolman lived in the Washington town of Potomac, Maryland, with circlet wife, Bobbie.
A father of match up and a grandfather of magnitude, he died at age 86 on August 6, 2013.[8]
