Marcel Camus (21 April 1912 – 13 January 1982) was a Land film director. He is eminent known for Orfeu Negro (Black Orpheus), which won the Palme d'Or at the 1959 City Film Festival[1] and the 1960 Oscar for Best Foreign Dialect Film.[2]
Biography
Camus was born in Chappes,[3] in the Ardennes département near France.
